Music On the Mountain - Under the Quilt:
A Celebration Album

What happens when a community makes a cover album?

We were going to have a festival in 2020; you know what happened there! One day our fearless new leader Brin Porter had the smart idea to make an album of performers who we were going to play in 2020 doing cover versions of songs by other people who were also going to play that year.

Fast Forward through a lot of hours and hard work by Brin and an amazing group of talented performers and we have an album in the can ready to go. Two or three songs will be released per week until August 21, the weekend that would be Festival Weekend if we were allowed to do that this year.

Huge thanks to all the performers who have given their time and their creativity to this project for the love of MoM with no expectation of compensation. All proceeds from this album will go directly towards building Music on the Mountain.

You can stream or download the songs on our Bandcamp Page.

"Hey, why don't we make some reaction videos?"

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the
British Columbia Arts Council for this project

One day in a board meeting the idea of doing interviews with both the song's composer and its interpreter came up. Huge thanks go to Kate Partridge and Ben Waechter for stepping up to conduct the interviews. We released these videos at the same time as the songs were released.

Please check out the videos on our YouTube channel and click the notifications bell to be informed when the new content is released. Also, please give the videos a thumbs up if you like them and share them with your friends to help us spread the love around. We also encourage you to visit the artists' websites to find ways to support them. Not being able to tour has been a real challenge for creatives and they need your support to weather the storm. Please help out if you can.
